In 2004 Tipp City Area United Way, "Touch a Life" campaign was highly successful. Without the support and donations of the residence of Tipp City and its surrounding areas our goal would not have been achieved. Our 2004 Honorary Chairperson of the "Touch a Life" Campaign was Jill Smith-Roehl of Meijer Stores Inc. Jill and Meijer Team members supported the Tipp City Area United Way in the past and was certainly committed to 2004's campaign.
A Life You Touch is Closer Than You Think” is an ideal campaign theme that relates to all of us anytime a, co-worker, family or friend is experiencing a need for a United Way supported service.Anytime the unexpected effects our theme “Closer Than You Think” may arise; it is reassuring to know the United Way will be there during those times. It is a honor to be involved with the Tipp City Area to help “A Life You Touch” provide services for our friends, neighbors and relatives when the need may arise. The community depends on us to present them with information regarding services available to them through the Tipp City Area United Way. For a commitment, “A Life You Touch” is provided by these agencies to some ones life investing in Youth and Family, providing Food and Shelter, Health and Crisis Intervention “ Is Closer Than You Think”. Please join the Team Members of Meijer Stores Inc and myself in supporting the efforts of the Tipp City Area United Way. Raising funds for our local agencies is necessary to provide services to our neighbors, co-workers, friends, and family members.
