Honda of America Mfg. Helps our Local United Way The
Tipp City Area United Way received $6,000.00 from Honda of America and its
associates. Collectively, Miami
County received over $62,000.00. Together,
Honda of America and its associates contributed over 1.8 million during the 2006
United Way campaign, benefiting 65 counties in Ohio and 32 out-of state
counties. “Our
2006 United Way Campaign continues to demonstrate the dedication of Honda and
our associates to our communities and each other,” stated Tom Shoupe, campaign
chair and Marysville Auto Plant manager. “This
is my first year as campaign chair and it has been wonderful to see how our
Honda team comes together in support of our community United Ways. “This
year’s campaign theme - Caring for
communities is the United Way – expresses how much Honda and its
associates care about the individuals and families who benefit from the services
provided by United Way agencies,” Shoupe said. The
Tipp City Area United Way is very appreciative of Honda of America and their
associates support. If every
company had the spirit and ambition towards United Way and our campaign, helping
our community would be much easier. If
