United Way Campaign
Heating Up! You live here, please give here Tipp City
Area United Way’s 2006 Annual Campaign is underway. The Thermometer has been placed at the lawn of Zion Lutheran
Church located at the corner of Third and Main Street.
Fred’s Signs has prepared the thermometer for many years and has
donated countless hours providing United Way and our community with this public
service-free of charge. We are very grateful for his services of helping us keep the
community informed of our progress. Our annual
campaign drive has a goal of $140,000, which is the same as last year’s goal.
We were unable to achieve our goal last year, and are working fervently
to achieve it this year, and need your help. Your local
United Way is “Uniting Neighbors, and
Changing Lives.” We are doing
this through impact areas of: Meeting Basic Needs, Promoting Health and
Wellness, Overcoming Crisis, Nurturing Families, Children, and our Elderly.
Your help is needed, to make this all possible.
Please give a tax deductible contribution which will help us provide
solutions for issues that our community faces while supporting 23 partner
agencies that aid individuals in our community. Our
2006-Campaign is critically important to assure the benefits of living in a
caring community. We may not be
able to help the whole world, but we can make a difference in our own community.
Your generosity is yet another outstanding example of a great community
we all share. Many of
our residents commute to work outside of the Tipp City area, it is important
that you remember to designate your United Way contribution back to the Tipp
City Area United Way. The reality
is that service delivery is usually determined by residence, not where you give
your United Way contribution. In
life altering events, such as a house fire, it would be the agencies in the Tipp
City area that would help you recover. Remember,
when you’re filling out your United Way pledge form to ask your employer for a
designation or donor option card. The
United Way of the Greater Dayton Area’s designation code number for the Tipp
City Area United Way is 1030, and the Combined Federal Campaign code number is
7144. You will need these numbers
to designate your gift back to the Tipp City area, if you participate in any of
these workplace campaigns. You can
also find these important numbers in your Tipp City Area United Way brochure
that was mailed out September 1. If you have any questions regarding our
campaign, need an informational brochure, or would like to facilitate a company
campaign at your workplace, please call Deborah Carr at 669-FUND (3863).
You may also help with our community effort by sending your donation to:

through our website www.tippcityauw.org.
No gift is ever too small. If
you are going through a difficult time and need our assistance, please contact
our office for help. |
