Tipp City Area United Way’s 2005 Annual Campaign is underway. The Thermometer has been placed at the lawn of Zion Lutheran
Church located at the corner of Third and Main Street.
Fred’s Signs has prepared the thermometer for many years and has
donated countless hours providing the United Way and our community with this
public service - free of charge. We are very grateful for his services of helping us keep the
community informed of our progress. Our
annual campaign drive has a goal of $140,000.00, and will end October 31.
We are anticipating much generosity and support from our community, and
hope with their help we could exceed our goal and help many in need of our
support. For
your convenience, Fifth Third Bank locations in Tipp City are excepting
donations on our behalf. They are
located at 19 East Main Street & 1551 West Main Street.
Please place your donation in the box provided, brochures and pledge
cards are also available. The
Tipp City Area United Way now has a presence on the internet. The new website is www.tippcityauw.org.
The website should allow individuals from Tipp City and surrounding areas
to research information pertaining to our partner agencies; learn how
allocations are distributed, read current newspaper articles, and much more.
Check us out on the web! If you
have any questions regarding our campaign or would like to facilitate a company
campaign at your workplace, please call Deborah Carr at 669-FUND.
